Yeban Shin

Yeban Shin is the perfect example of a professional who uses a STEM mindset daily. Yeban has worked as an industrial designer in multiple design and technology firms in Silicon Valley (Fellow Robots (Now Fellow AI), Arkwhat, Piper ...etc.) for the past ten years. He has led projects designing the robot, drone, tech gadgets, and DIY computer kits that children can build to learn about computers. While Yeban’s projects are technologically advanced, he also needs a creative mindset to think outside of the box and come up with innovative and suitable solutions for problems that the team is facing. 

Yeban currently teaches at California College of the Arts as an Adjunct Professor in the Design department. He helps students find the right path to deploy their creative mindsets in the design industry. [Yeban is extending his role outside of the university to guide the young dreamers of STEAMED Playground to design their own learning playground.
